Good News: LVTC's 2 Achievements Won the Second Prize of the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award

From News Center (Text and Photo by Jiang Qixia, Teaching Affairs and Practical Training Administration Office) Recently, the list of 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award-Winning Projects was announced. LVTC, as the first completion unit, won the second prize of the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award. The awarded projects were titled “Industry-Innovation Coupling and Major-Innovation Integration: Reform and Practice of Higher Vocational Students' Innovation Ability Cultivation” and “Trinity, Five-energy Composite, and Full-Chain Service: Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Senior Stewards for the Equipment of the Regional Pillar Industry".

Industry-Innovation Coupling and Major-Innovation Integration: Reform and Practice of Higher Vocational Students' Innovation Ability Cultivation is presided over by Ju Hongxia, Vice President of LVTC. The team members include Xu Ming, Wei Lin, Li Hua, Liu Liu, Liu Jing, He Zhizhong, Li Donghang, Wang Fuchun, Sun Ping, Han Xiao, Yue Dehu, Pan Feng, Wang Jing, etc. The project focuses on how to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education and demonstrates that under the concept of Small Problems, Big Ambitions, the government, school, administration, and enterprises have jointly built a front-line problem bank for enterprises and promoted the reform of the integration of Class, Competition, Research, and Training since LVTC launched the reform on Employment and Entrepreneurship and the construction of innovative and practical education base in 2006.

Trinity, Five-energy Composite, and Full-Chain Service: Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Senior Stewards for the Equipment of the Regional Pillar Industry was hosted by Chen Wenyong, Director of the Department of Development and Planning. Team members include Chen Wenyong, Wang Fuchun, Wei Lin, Qiu Fuming, Guan Yipeng, Deng Yimin, Gan Daxi, Wu Kun, Xiang Xiaohan, Li Yang, Li Dongheng, Deng Haiying, Guan Laide, Liang Yun, Su Lei, Chen Hua, etc. The achievement shows that in the context of the accelerated transformation and upgrading of regional automobile and machinery manufacturing pillar industries, LVTC launches in-depth cooperation with companies such as GAC Group, SGMW, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, and Liuzhou ZF Machinery Co., Ltd. around the new needs of intelligent equipment development and carries out a comprehensive reform of the mechanical and electrical equipment technology majors to form a systematic plan for in-depth coordination among majors, industries, and education to train senior stewards in "five-energy composite" equipment.

It is learned that LVTC has won the TVET National Teaching Achievement Award for four consecutive years due to its 7 projects. The awards for these achievements demonstrate the school’s solid progress in education and teaching reform and the remarkable results it has achieved since its establishment as a national demonstration college, especially since the National Double High-level Plan.
