LVTC Teachers Complete Faculty Training Mission in Indonesia

From News Center (Text by Sun Yunqian, Office of International Exchange; Photo by Li Guanghui, Wei Maozhi, School of Automotive Engineering) On December 16, 2022, Jakarta State Polytechnic (in Indonesian: Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, hereinafter referred to as "PNJ") held a summing-up meeting for teacher training certification at LiuGong Indonesia. Li Guanghui and Wei Maozhi, who were appointed by the School of Automotive Engineering of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC), successfully completed the training and counseling tasks and were employed as training teachers by PNJ.

This training activity is based on the agreement of LVTC, Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "LiuGong") and PNJ to jointly build "LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center in Indonesia" and "LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College of Indonesia". LVTC is responsible for training and certifying PNJ teachers and customizing the training of Indonesian talents for LiuGong. In November 2022, the School of Automotive Engineering sent Li Guanghui and Wei Maozhi to conduct a one-month training and certification for PNJ teacher participants in Indonesia.

After arriving in Indonesia, the two teachers quickly adjusted their status, communicated with the LiuGong trainers who came first, and conducted intense teaching training together. There are seven teachers participating in this training at PNJ. Most of them have working or teaching experience in the construction machinery industry, and the oldest one is 64 years old. The training was conducted in English. During the training, the trainers actively contacted the management and teachers of LVTC's School of Automotive Engineering to discuss solutions to the weak English of most participants. They implemented the guided text teaching method and distributed the printed maintenance operation procedures to the trainees in advance. At the same time, by implementing the project teaching method, they increased the presentation and guided the trainees to practice more to reduce the long-time oral communication in English and improve the training effect.

As of today, LiuGong Indonesia has invested in nearly 50 sets of teaching devices and PNJ's new training building will be completed this month. The first order-orientated class will start enrollment and classes will be officially opened in February 2023.
